Dr. Stephanie von Ritgen
Specialist Veterinarian in Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine
What fascinates me about anaesthesia and pain medicine is that there is always more to learn. Equine anaesthesia, in particular, brings together physiology, technology, clinical experience and proactive risk management in a unique way. At the same time, modern pain management, complemented by integrative approaches such as acupuncture, rehabilitation and manual therapy, offers the opportunity to make a very direct and meaningful difference to patients’ quality of life. Continuing to develop these fields and sharing my knowledge through clinical work, teaching and continuing education is a key part of my professional motivation.
